Jarryn Pitts is an artist living in Riddells Creek, Victoria and currently studying an advanced diploma of visual art at rmit, cbd campus. He primarily paints with watercolour, gouache, oil and acrylic, however, uses all other mediums. His art portrays themes of psychedelia, spirituality and surrealism. There can be found intense psychedelic inspired imagery in his works such as, geometric patterns, contrasting colours, colours where they usually are not and surrealist depictions. There is an element of surrealism in Jarryn’s art, however, he considers his art a visionary/psychedelic art. Influenced strongly by spirituality, he creates artwork that reflects his direct experiences from the unique individual spiritual journey he is on. He feels his artworks are an expression of Consciousness and or The Universe expressing itself through him.
